Why e-learning?
Repetition of learning is key in acquiring knowledge for a lifetime. Meanwhile conventional learning is a one-time method, e-learning allows for repetition. E-learners may go back to the content and give it another check, whenever and wherever they feel like. It is a hard fact that we need to hear or read something approximately seven times in order to archive it in our memory. The process of learning is different for each one of us, but being able to monitor our own progress and to take control over the acquirement of knowledge is a huge power. This means that because of the opportunity to repeat a lecture or redo an assignment, e-learning enhances knowledge retention, thus have a positive impact on our long-term memory.
E-learning is one of the fastest growing industry today and the rapid expansion of learning management systems is going beyond expectations. E-learning is the greatest example of life-long learning because it is not restricted to a physical classroom, lectures can be consumed wherever and whenever. It is never too late to learn, never enough to already know! Working full-time or having kids aren’t excuses today for not having time to go to school or to develop skills.
